Ajay Anand

Ajay Anand is the Owner of Punjabi Saraf, carrying forward a legacy his father, the late Shri Harichandra Anand, began in 1947. A qualified gemologist, he joined the business in 1992, building his expertise at the family shop alongside his studies, gaining a thorough, hands-on understanding of sourcing, metals, gemstones, processing, and design. That foundation continues to guide how Punjabi Saraf sources and crafts every piece today, balancing time-tested standards of purity and quality with the expectations of a new generation of customers.

The man who taught us about the three key ingredients in good jewellery: Purity, Quality and Customer Satisfaction. The man whose vision will continue to inspire us and forever remain a strength for us!

Sumeet Anand

Sumeet Anand is co-owner and partner at Punjabi Saraf Jewellers, and design has always been his strong suit. He studied at DAVV University in Indore, then joined the family shop at Bada Sarafa, drawn in early by an eye for how a piece should look and feel. Years on trade association boards followed, along with committee seats and enough industry standing that journalists call him for quotes on where jewellery design is headed next. Design, brand, the wider market, that's Sumeet's lane, and it's shaped how people outside Indore have come to see Punjabi Saraf.
